Hope you don't mind, I popped your logo back in there for a moment. Is this how it looked when you did it? The space for the logo is ralatively small. You have a rather atypical scenario here where your logo is extremely detailed -- for more than most school logos you'll ever see. One of the problems with this is the web is a relatively low resolution medium. Many people think exactly the opposite, but web site images only contain 72 dots per inch. So when you take a very finely detailed logo like you have in your case and then size it down to a typical logo size you'd see on the web, you wind up losing a lot of the detail you're likely accustomed to seeing.
