Thanks, Jack. Did I copy the code incorrectly? Could you please take a look at: http://forums.classcreator.com/messages.cfm?threadid=D73E3414-ECF4-BBD7-B960870932F1661A

Just discovered that it plays in Chrome but not in Firefox. Really weird!

Ah, that makes sense. I tested in Chrome too. Edge works, Opera doesn't work - derived from Chrome - with differences. Also mobile devices don't work - that's been that way for a while - to keep data usage down. I think this is the message from Firefox that maybe the others are also following just not telling you. Autoplay is only allowed when approved by the user, the site is activated by the user, or media is muted.

With the current environment on the push to tighten up security and issues with what Microsoft is "NO LONGER" supporting in Windows, I have found a multitude of issues using Firefox and Chrome after their current updates. I have been an adamant supporter of using Firefox instead of a Microsoft browser over the years. I have finally given up and have started using Microsoft's EDGE browser. It seems to work in most cases.

Actually EDGE is going to use CHROMIUM code base - that is what CHROME is built from. New EDGE will be a complete replacement. Already done for Linux. Short story, no longer tied to Windows for features. That was it's downfall. The "autoplay" feature is mostly not liked for various reasons. If you turn the sound to "mute", the video in this discussion will start autoplaying in FireFox and if the sound level is -0- then it autoplays in Opera.
