Brad or Jessica, why sometimes when I go to a classmates page will one of the pictures they uploaded appear as a small red x in a little box? The one on Raenita Manley's page changed and Gerceida Adams has always just been like that. I am sure it is not the site. Just wondered if you could clear up this mystery for me. Thanks!

Says 10:37 here, beats me. The time space continuum must be warping again.

There are a verity of reasons an image might appear as a red X (i.e. broken image). Somebody may have uploaded something that wasn't compatible with our sytem. An image upload may have been incomplete (this can happen on super large image scans or digital photos -- either our system can time out, or the users's own connection). If you see this, have the Classmate do this:

1) Delete the broken photo
2) Resize the original photo down to 1,000 pixels wide using Irfanview (www.irfanview.com, it's free) or any other photo software.
3) Save the image as a normal JPG file.
4) Upload it again

This should fix it.
