OK. I've tried all sorts of things and I am frustrated. I have a calendar I've created in Excel. On certain days in that calendar I have photos inserted and I then have hyperlinks on those photos.

I've tried printing the spreadsheet to a PDF file which works OK but the hyperlinks do not remain active. I have done this with Word docs and they do remain active there.

I've tried to replicate the calendar by building a table in CC but I'm having a problem with aligning things there and keeping things symmetrical.

I am trying to display different events on the calendar with .jpg files and link to other pages (one for each event) on my site where details will be shown. Make sense?

I've looked at some interactive calendar tools but I don't see where I can add pictures and hyperlinks. I really like the way the Excel calendar looks. Any ideas from those creative minds out there?

Is this LINK the sort of calendar you are talking about?

Is this just for one month automatically for many?

Do you have a sample page of the table you tried on CC? That would make it easier for ideas.

OK Jack. I've attached my spreadsheet calendar. You'll see that the pics have links which currently just go to my homepage until I build the other pages.

My attempt at replicating this in a CC table can be found HERE. I don't know why the day numbers are not on the line in some boxes and entering a .jpg on the 5th also misaligned things.

I'm open to suggestions.

Here's a quick example LINK to see if that's the direction you need. (Ignore the background texture, I didn't bother to override. The backghround is actually white if you copy it.)

I started from the code on this LINK and combined with the colors you are using. Days on on top because that causes fewer issuesWink There are many other sites. This one was just simple.

It's done using CSS that you modify in source code. This is more flexible and lets one vary elements easily by just changing "class" characteristics. So if you wanted to change the day color, you just change "date" class. I set the sunday and saturday colors using "sat" and "sun" classes (they don't exist in the reference code).

You can also expand the table to include the Month name and so forth. Images for links may need to manually adjusted to fit inside your context. My pages are a tad wider. Cells automatically size to your page width.

Be careful using CC editor formatting! I'd use the CSS to change colors, fonts, etc instead of direct "edit" styles. If something doesn't work, back up and try again or manually look at the source.

Thanks Jack. I'm going to see if I can work with this. I don't know CSS real well but I think I can find my way around what code I need to adjust. I'll let you know how I make out.

From your work so far, pretty sure you can work with it. The source is pretty self-explanatory and CSS is commented. That site also has some more information on how to change.

Just play around and you'll see it is pretty easy. Change the "color" for the "date" class and see what I mean. It's sort of fun to see a global change with just one little modification.
