Trouble loading PDF to Vault

I want to include a link to a PDF in my Vault, however, I get this error message: ('CFX_ImageCR Exception', "Access violation at address 580017F7 in module 'EffImg350j.dll'. Read of address 00000018")when I attempt to load it. Am I trying to store the PDF in the wrong folder?
