A classmate asked me this: "In order to open the web site, I am being prompted to install "ActiveX Control". Why?" What is the proper response to him. I could not find it in the FAQ's or this forum but I think I have seen it somewhere. It would be nice to be able to search the FAQ's Thanks,

![]() Jim, Just press control-F on your keyboard to search the FAQs. Some parts of our system utilize Flash. Most likely the ActiveX control is coming up due to a result of him needing to upgrade his computer to see the latest Flash technology. This isn't in the FAQs anyway, it's rare that this would happen, he might not have Flash set to auto update or something like that. In any case, ActiveX is a normal browser thing, there's no reason not to proceed.
