I am completely lost on this one!! I reduced my pdf file as recommended, no problem, but it doesn't do anything when I choose my file and hit upload except the cursor jumps to the URL box.

I am wondering if your PDF may have been too large. Ironically, we made an update last night that would likely help if that was the case. Follow these instructions and if you are still having issues, feel free to give me a call. 734-585-5605 To upload a non image documents to the File Vault, such as a .doc or .pdf file, please see the following: Locate any page that has an Editor Window, such as by going to Edit Site Pages > Edit Page next to Homepage. 1. What I typically do first is decide on where my link will be and what my link phrase will say. Type the link phrase into the editor window and use your cursor to highlight the phrase. 2. On the Editor Window, look for the icon in the second row of buttons that is about 2/3 to the right that looks like a globe with a chain link, this is the Insert / Edit Link button. Click this button and a small window will appear. Click the Browse button and locate your file on your computer. Once selected, press the Open / Select button and then you will need to click the Upload button to the right. The window should close, leaving your link phrase blue and underlined. This means that it is linked, however to test the link you must save the page and go to the actual page of the site to click the link.

Yes, that process does produce a link that the user would click to download the pdf. There are embed codes that you will need to Google where you can embed the PDF on the page.

My fellow committee members have informed me they want me to post a PDF too. Since I don't have much experience doing such things, is there additional help on Class Creator on how to do it?

Uploading a non image document to the File Vault (PDF, spreadsheet, presentation, .doc, etc.)... The way to do it on ClassCreator is to create a link that when clicked on will open up the PDF document. To upload a non image documents to the File Vault, locate any page that has an Editor Window, such as by going to Edit Site Pages > Edit Page next to Homepage. 1. What I typically do first is decide on where my link will be and what my link phrase will say. Type the link phrase into the editor window and use your cursor to highlight/select the phrase. 2. On the Editor Window, look for the icon in the second row of buttons that is about 2/3 to the right that looks like a chain link, this is the Insert / Edit Link button. Click this button and a small window will appear. Click the Browse button and locate your file on your hard drive. Once selected, press the Open / Select button and then you will need to click the Upload button to the right. The window should close, leaving your link phrase blue and underlined. This means that it is linked, however to test the link you must save the page and go to the actual page of the site to click the link. If this is in an email... 3. To test the link, send yourself a test message from the system and click the link. You should be prompted to download / or save / or open your document depending on your browser.

Hi Ouida, I responded in your contact us message as well. I'm responding here too so the others have access to the answer Make sure there are no extra spaces or symbols in the file name. We have a quick video about adding a document a page. It adds the URL for you once you Upload the document. https://www.classcreator.com/templates/h...utube_id=-itpXnL2bnQ Jessica
