You can't. Although I certainly can't blame you for wanting to. People make these widgets free of charge because they want links back to their web sites, they want traffic, and when people get to their sites themselves they want you to see advertising, etc. If you could remove their link, it would stop their traffic, which would be counter productive to the reasons they make these things.
