When each member sets up their account/profile, they are asked if they want to receive email notifications Immediately, Daily, or Never. I have classmates that feel Daily is still too often and only want to receive one email per week. Is this possible? If yes, please explain how. Thank you.

This has been discussed (and desired)since 2014.

Thanks for the link Jack Vermeulen. I did a search on the forum for various words (e.g., notification) but nothing came up when I looked. I would sure appreciate it if "Weekly" could be added as an option.

Use this for the search

Search for: notification frequency
search type: all words

P.S. I bet if CC did a poll it would be 99% in favor of this option Very Happy

Jack, I'm pretty sure you're right about this being a popular (and MUCH needed) change. We work so hard to make the site inviting . . . then IRRITATE classmates into the Never option because Daily is too frequent for them.

Weekly, Twice a month, and Monthly, would help us retain active members.

Optionally notif
will catch both notify and notification(s)

not all will have "frequency" but most on this topic will have "weekly" and "never" so a search for all words "notif weekly never" could also be helpful.
