contact us form not going to site email address

under preferences, for 'site email', it says: Recommendation: Use your personal email address,or set up a separate email box and enter the address above if you wish to separate your web site emails from your personal emails. ...which is what I did, but it doesn't seem to work that way ~ the contact us form is still going to my classmate email address and not the site email address. gremlin?

Hi Jaimie, The site email address under Preferences is the email address that is listed to classmates if they click on the contact form and is the email address listed at the bottom of site emails sent by the Email The Class or Auto Emails. It doesn't specifically mean it will send contact forms or other admin notices to that address. Your Edit Contact Information as an admin (and classmate) is where you list what email address or addresses you wish to receive emails at. You have two different emails listed in your Contact Information - that is where the notices will email to. It is separating them - some admins want that email address to be a completely separate email address they set up just for the website notifications. You can always add that same address to your Edit Contact Information if you would like to receive it there as well. Jessica
