I am trying to set up a page that when opened will go directly to a forum. I copied the web address from the forum page and entered that into the web address under "Open page info and optimization" and added .htm at the end. I still get an error message that says I have to add .htm after the address. Is there some other way to do this?

Same question asked here just a bit ago HERE

You can do it yourself by putting the "meta" on a regular page you create. Then edit that page with the code shown below. That automatically transfers to your forum. Use SOURCE mode in the editor - not regular edit mode. Modify to the link you wanted.

You could also put a regular link on that page in case the meta fails for some reason - old browsers, etc.
