In an effort to be upfront with alumni, I added the number of days left of our site subscription to the page thanking those who have covered it to-date. I thought I captured the number with coding that would count down as on our subscription page. Good thought but it did not work. Hopefully a member of the CC team will give me the 'how to'. Smile

In advance, I say... THANKS!Very Happy

I don't see any JavaScript on that page. Where is the code you thought you were copying?

Have you tried looking HERE:

Hi Kyle,
I wanted to have the subscription info from the Subscription page at this page: https://www.classcreator.com/McHenry-IL-McHenry-Community-All-Years-1950-2010/class_admin_billing_1.cfm?session_id=6DC669CE-2219-24ED-AE11D3C428AF5C51

show on the THANK YOU page.

For now I will simply remove it.

That number isn't available to automatically be inserted in the text.

You can manually update it, but there is no magic number or magic piece of code that will automatically insert that number.

If you wanted a count-down (subscription will expire in X days), you could use JavaScript and put in the date it will expire and it will show the number of days until it will expire. If you renew for another year/month, you would need to update the JavaScript so it would be right again.

The way I did it was to send out an email to everyone asking for donations to help pay for the site, I told them we needed so much $$ to cover the so many years to keep the site up.

I also stated I knew it was hard times, so even a few Dollars would help.

When it was all over we had enought to add 5 years to the site.Very Happy

How about a countdown widget or online countdown clock that you can embed? There are many out there. Look at www.mycountdown.org as an example. I created one with the Event Name as Our Website Subscription Runs Out. You need to know the end date to create these.
