What's New stops loading current comments

When classmates log on, I've set WHATS NEW as their log on. Currently, WHAT'S NEW only loads what I pinned to the top. I cannot view any other current comments. If I click on my Profile, there's a ton of new stuff. Can tech support please advise. Also, classmates are not receiving email notifications. Please look into this - we have a 3-day holiday weekend. What's going on? Thank you.

SINCE FRIDAY, It's not possible for me or any classmate to post a comment on WHAT'S NEW - THERE'S NOTHING NEW TO READ. Is this system wide? I'm reaching out to Administrators: Are other Admin having this problem, too? Thank you.
