Am having trouble doing a simple copy paste from Word to response section of Forum. Missing something?

Hi Tom,

The Help Forums do not have the pop-up you see on your pages. What that does is to remove coding such as special fonts, bold, underline and so on. A few of these edit options are available in the Help Forums response editor.

To input a response you wrote in Word, you need to:
1) Open NOTEPAD.
2) Paste your response from Word into NOTEPAD.
3) Copy the text in NOTEPAD.
4) Paste it into the response window.

Thanks for asking... just in case something was not right.

Thanks. Tried your suggestions but they didn't work for me while using Windows 8.1 and IE 11.0.1.

Cut & Paste did work with Google Chrome. Tom

This is a response from Win8.1 IE11.0.1 with text copied from MSWord, pasted into Notepad and then pasted into the forum Response dialog.

It's easy to hit the wrong key or mouse gesture Idea

No problem with copy paste using IE 11 on this Forum.

Tried it over and over with IE 11 but it still would not work on the Message Forum of my class website unless I used chrome.

No big deal. Just thought I would mention it.

Ah you are talking about the CC editor. For IE11 you have to use F12 and set the "Document Mode" to IE 9 and the "User Agent String" to IE 9. (Or Use the Tools option to get there)

IE10 and IE11 are quirky with CC for the moment. It has to do with an incorrect browser detection somehow (I'm guessing).

This also applies to editing pages.
