What's the best way to collect a list of people who plan to attend an event? We're having an informal class picnic -- not a full blown reunion -- and wondered how to use the website for getting a list of those who are coming to the picnic.

You can still use the Reunion Planner for the kind of event. Class Creator Admins use the Reunion Planner for large reunions as well as for smaller get togethers. Even if the event is Free, you can still have people register for the event using the system.

I wouldn't do a free event. Even charging a nominal amount makes the classmate feel committed. You will know who is coming and they are more likely to show up.

I use the Post Announcement and add a survey, which you can design your own. We use it all the time for our lunch and other functions we plan.
