May and can this be used? http://www.javascriptsource.com/image-effects/flashing-scrollbar.html When there is a new announcement I would like the text: NEW ANNOUNCENT to flash to alert the classmates that there is a new announcement. if so, how do I do it.

Regis, On my single year site, I choose to be careful as to anything that flashes as we have a classmate who has to avoid anything flashing fast due to seizures. So I went with a different effect. Check out "OPEN 24 HOURS" at the bottom of this home page mchs1970.com It is from http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/scripts/ I looked at the site you shared. Our sites are in HTML5, so it should be good. Please share a link if you try it.

I tried to go to this website: http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/scripts/ but my McAfee won't let me go there. It says this site is not safe. Any ideas why
