When a classmate submits the information for a deceased classmate, does it update on the site within a certain time frame or is it only submitted as an email to the administrators?

How is the classmate submitting the information? Via Contact Us, or some other means? If it's only via an email to the administrators, no one but the administrators will see it. Then the administrator will have to make an In Memory entry for the deceased classmate. Only the administrator can make an In Memory entry.

It is a form that classmates can complete so admins have more information about the classmate who passed. It does not transfer over it is just informational. Classmates can complete as little or as much information as they have and then admins receive the form to add the details they wish to add or research the information provided before they add it. Many admins use the information for verification purposes.

Thanks, John. I found the link at the bottom of our In Memory (Life Tributes) page. All these years, I've missed seeing that link. But, as the site administrator, I would never use it to report a death, so that explains things.
