I am trying to use the new "paid member" check box. If I check someone and save when I come back to that record the box is not checked. I also download names that I know are check it is not saved. Please advise how to use this feature.

We were really counting on this feature to save us some not. I am not sure what is happening with it. Has anyone ever used this?

Where is the new "paid member" check box, how is it being used and what is its purpose?

FC --- On Ray's site, I see a "Dues/Donation/Scholarship" link. I'm guessing the Paid Member check box has something to do with dues and is specific to his site. The link is password protected, so I can't verify.

As an aside, Ray has one of the heaviest administrative burdens of any Class Creator site, with over 29,000 members he keeps track of on his multi-year site.

Hopefully Ray will more fully describe this feature including how it was created etc so that someone on these fora will be able to help.

29,000 sure makes my 175 total pale by comparison. And the actuarial tables have reduced the number remaining to 70. And of those 70 we've lost track of 4.

I am attaching a file. I thought this was on whole site, now I am not sure.

From that discussion, probably an Admin only field. Sounds like the field is not being saved if set by an Admin. Report in bugs.

Your screenshot shows what I presume to be the bottom of a classmate's Edit Profile page. I have attached the same for my site. As you can see I have neither a paid member nor a mail list entry.

As I don't see how I could do anything like this in Profile Generator at this juncture I can only assume that those options were custom created for you by Class Creator and would be the only ones who could help you. I hope they chime in.

I can't test this as an 'admin only' field. I do not have that as an option.

I added profile paid member yes/no question to a member, checked yes, then used the download option asking to show only the member name and this field and it all worked.

I can only assume that the "admin" only option does not save?

Now that I think about, I think it was a custom field. I do remember saying this would be great if we had this. I will reporty under bugs.

If I go to "profile generator" this is what I see.

That's what it shows in the profile generator.

But as your earlier screen shot shows, it ends up being two radio buttons, yes and no. That's what I ended up too. It's a bit misleading in the generator.

I do not have the ADMIN option. I bet if you remove the admin option (just to test), that it will work

I wonder if it does not work because it is not "active"?

Try enabling that and see what happens.
