Yes you can just make it inactive under Edit Site Pages. You had changed the name of the page to test. I changed the name to live chat - deactivated and made it inactive under the Edit Link option for that page.

I'd be surprised if your Live Chat was working anyway, Cindy. Mine hasn't been for a couple of years at least.

The response, by Scott Mastenbrook of Class Creator, dated Feb. 20, 2021, says, "The live chat function was powered by Flash...which is now no longer available. We do not yet have a replacement."

If Live Chat doesn't exist, why is it still listed as a feature of the Platinum subscription?

The goal was to replace it with HTML5, however, extensive web browser changes this summer has made it so that it is difficult to track if the individual is there the way we could with the Flash tags making the system less functional. We may need to remove it entirely if the HTML5 version won't be able to ping the users to ensure they are there consistently across browsers as it is a requirement of most chat configurations.

We are checking into alternatives. Some admins have been using Google Meets
