Is it our email system that is now faulty?
Or has something changed within class creator?

Also, when I send out a change to my class, several are now getting bounced email account accounts when they have not changed anything.

I suspect that these bounces were there all the time. Class Creator fixed showing bounces - they were not showing before.

We had the same thing a few weeks ago. Bounces finally started appearing again. Although three were not detected. I did a mass email using Gmail last year and found out all the bounced emails that were not showing

So this might just be good news for your site.
