Class creator helped me before a couple of years ago when we had to not allow a member access to our site due to inappropriate content. Well I need to have this happen again. Last time a team member did that for me. They deleted the personal email address and put in "no email@email.com. My question is can I do that on my own and how do I put in a new password. I am concerned that this info will be sent to his original email address and I do not want this to happen. Can you assist or let me know how to do this? Thanks Karen

I also saw that someone else had used test@test. Can I also change the password? Will any of this information be sent to that person at the original email they signed up with?

If you reset password that action is sent to original email.

Changing to a new email send the new email to original email. Maybe doing it twice?

I think this will work.

Change the EMAIL TWICE. Then the second time it sends the change to the first bad email.

This is done under "Manage Classmates"

I tried that method. I used one of my own email addresses as the second address so that I would get that second email. I did receive that second email. So I assume that he cannot log on now. I'll post here again if it ultimately doesn't work.

Hi Karen and Tommy,

If you are referring to someone who has joined and added in something other than what you had on file there are a few things to note:

1. When the classmate joins they do not see the email address or contact information on file - only the admins can see that information. If they change anything that you had on file it is noted in an email to you as the admin showing a new join and anything that is different from what you have on file is documented.

2. If someone joins under another persons name etc. you can simply delete their entry and add what the original information was based on what you had on file in the email you receive of what was changed.

You can delete or add new entries under Admin Functions > Manage Classmates > Enter/Edit Classmates

If you need me to log someone out. Please email me the details at info@classcreator.com so their information isn't on the public forums.

There have been requests over the years to add an option to all profiles which would disable their login. And even better, an option to allow login but not any posts, comments, etc. Or finally, to add a full set of functional choices in each profile like we get when we create a co-admin - with many options to allow (or restrict) what they can see and do.

None of those ever really got past the "That would be great" stage.
