I have three bouncebacks this morning caused by Spamhaus.
I checked a brother website dhsclassof1964.com and they have 25 bouncebacks nearly all caused by Spamhaus. I believe this is an issue that has to be resolved at Class Creator rather than local website level?

Hi Ian,

We are not listed on Spamhaus. I checked the address within those bounces and ran a search in our email address, IP address, mail. address etc and confirmed that we do not appear on the list under any of those. It may be a ".com.za" issue as most addresses were within that system. I removed the bounces in those cases only as this may have been an error on their end and may clear up on its own. If you see them again please email me at info@classcreator.com with the bounce detail from one of the bounces and I will take another look. For now I cleared only those from both sites.

I received 8 bouncebacks today! Am having trouble with one of the classmates trying to cure his bounceback as instructed on the website. He has the old email address, but no password recollection so says he can't continue to get in and click on the link that it talks about him doing. What do you do in this situation? Thank you.

You could reset his password and let him no what it is. He could then logon using the address of the old e-mail account even if he has no access to it. After logging on he could make any changes he'd like.

I thought of that, but the instructions for bouncebacks sound like that is not an option. Class Creator - is this a valid cure for the classmate's issue?

My understanding is that if he still has access to that e-mail there will be instructions on the site enabling him to clear the bounce back. If not, has another email account and enters that as his primary the issue becomes moot.

That's theissue - he no longer has access to the email address, nor does he have a password. I'm trying to figure out if I can change his email address - that doesn't cure the trigger of the bad email which the instructions call for...Thank you!

While our web sites don't really care if the login email address is valid (as far as logging in goes), the easiest fix for this situation is to change his email address to his new one, change his password to some temporary word, and let him know. He can then log in and change his password to whatever he wants. Once his email address is changed, the 'bounce' will disappear.

John Ralph is correct. I would just change his email to a new email that he currently uses, and change his password to one he gives you (which he can change later), Then he'll be able to log on using his new email and password, and then change his password if he wishes. This is a simple, effective way to solve your problem.
