I've seen several threads that address emojis. Many of my class use tablets and phones for accessing our site. There are several areas where emojis work, but when posting comments on another classmates profile, they always show as " ?? ". As I said, I have seen other threads and there seems to be no answer other than "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't"

My specific question is: What does it take to have emojis work when posting on a classmates profile? Is there a setting *I* can change as Admin or is this a Class Creator item?

I mean I can add emojis in the page editor and even in this Forum, but not where my classmates want to see them - in the posting of comments in another classmates profile?

Stuff here is coded into code here. There is no setting per se.

These appear to work more generally. They worked in my email. Not sure if universal yet. So this is test. See if it works for you. Nope, CC code is INTERFERING again. They used to be more flexible and then some newbie got in there and screwed it all up. Sigh.

Forum code is not decoding my link correctly nor my post. It's one of the problems with old code that is scanning text to make sense and it gets confused.

More than 6 complaints to me in the past 3 weeks that emojis always show as " ?? "

It's 2025 (!!!) - ALL phone messaging and email providers have the ability to use emojis. As I said in my 3 year old, unanswered post, CC has emojis (rudimentary) on the page editor and, again, I can use emojis here in forums. But the many, many people that want to post a birthday cake emoji in What's New are frustrated. (BTW, people come on the site to have fun - not to be frustrated when they can't do something they can do on almost every other social media platform)

Why is it readily available where I don't need it but isn't available where my class needs it (and actually want's it)??

10 of the responses when we asked the class if we should extend our subscription responded with a variation of "Do they have emojis yet??"

Added note: I just did a forum search of "Emoji". The first 5 posts I reviewed died after posting with no CC Staff response whatsoever. Please? We just added 36 months to our subscription.
