I'm trying to understand why Google search finds our classmates names, even when the Block Profile Visibility choice is checked/on. This setting says:

"Block the public and search engines from accessing my Profile and allow only fellow Classmates to view my Profile details. Leave this box unchecked if you also wish to allow the public (friends, co-workers, family members, etc.) to view your Profile details."

When I search my name or a classmates name, Google search shows my name on our class website right up at the top with the info in the attached image.

Admittedly, I cannot see profile details unless I am logged into the class website, but it's disturbing to see my name/classmate names turning up with information about where & when we went to high school.

At one time your profile link was unlocked. That's the only way it would know the 'memberid'. I noticed that when the raw profile is created, it is not LOCKED and shows the "memberid".

Look at Thomas Seals to see what I mean.

Any name on your classmates profile list will be indexed by search engines and associated with your class.
