Classmate Opt Out

Hello!

I used to be able to scan the list of recipients in Email the Class and see who had opted out of emails.

Due to some changes, I can no longer see that. The two classmates who opted out are not listed in the group to select from which is logical.

However, from time to time I would spot an active classmate who had accidentally clicked the opt out option in an email. I would contact them and they said they were wondering why they were not receiving any emails.

So, is there some way I can find out who might have opted out?

If you have more than 500 Classmates total (you have 567 across 3 class years), we purposely remove those with no email addresses and those who have their notify flag off to help with the aggravating IE hang issue. We should be able to display those who have opted out again though. We'll do that. Just not showing the names of those with no email address should be sufficient.

Now I skimmed the links and went passively through the email the class section and did not see the link. Is it accessible? Is it just for right now or will it be updated and accessible in the future?

And one of them is deceased. Did we click a wrong button on her?

How recently deceased? Maybe while she was still alive, she clicked the response in her e-mail. Or maybe the spouse got another e-mail and didn't really care about the High School website, so said to be removed.

The link is not built into the product as a link you can click on, but should still be there in the future. Maybe the link will be incorporated into the "E-mail the Class" functionality.

She had cancer and probably opted out as she wore down.

The programmer added the opted out flags back in.

Give the programmer and CC my personal thanks and one for you also! WOW, I amaze me...I went in and actually found the opt outs!

Scott, I too would like to be able to see who has opted out of emails but I don't see it in the Class List under "Manage The Class." Where can I see who has opted out of emails? Many Thanks.
