Received an email today from a classmate that had a missing email when I uploaded my list. But this email came from the site with just the homepage name, the classmates email address and an IP address.

I thought it may have been because the user registered, but I don't see a pending request and when I look at that user's profile there is no email listed still.

What is this email generated from?

The Classmate filled out your general site contact form.

So I'm guessing he didn't type anything which is why it was blank, correct?

I didn't realize it was blank, but yes, if he didn't put in any comments then all you'd have is the name and email address. I'd send a reply and ask if he has any questions.
