How to delete an event?

I tried to delete a "New Event" from the Home Page, but I was told to edit the event. I don't see any way to delete it from the event section? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Connie, Did you figure this out? I'm not seeing New Event on there. For any page on the navigation you can go to Edit Site Pages > Edit Link and turn off the link on the navigation by making it not active. Jessica
