There is apparently a large backup in the e-mail system. Messages I sent from my site six hours ago have yet to arrive.

Must be worse than a "backup" if you have been waiting six-plus hours.

Sent a test message to Marla and myself from TAP at 11:23pm EDT. I am hoping to add a positive post to this thread. If not, at least noting the time will help.

After a five minute pause, the email has not arrived. They usually arrive immediately.

I sent an important "Entire Class" email out at 10:17 last night to 272 Classmates and have yet to receive it. Sent a test one to myself at 8:24 and zip so far. Makes you go "Hmmmm".

I sent one this morning about 8am and it hasn't gone through. Our Site just went through an important change in administration and really need this message to go through.

Anybody from CC able to weigh in on the delay and when it should break free?

If the "outbox" were like the bank's drive thru, I'd say one of the guys stuck a sock in the tube. Then again... maybe they did. (just kidding!)

And to update, my test of last night has not YET arrived. There will be a flood of emails bursting out when they open the outbox.

We have reset the mail server and all of the "backlog" of emails in the queue are being sent. This should be resolved shortly.
