I received about 100 bounce backs from Charter.net on a recent email sent out to about 1200 classmates. Charter.net considers our email spam for an unknown reason.

A) Is there a way to send an email through the "email the class" function to a non-classmate such as unblock@charter.net as requested in the message below? If the email does not come through Class Creator I won't be able to unblock the message.

B) Is there a way to re-email the "bounce back" classmates through the "email the class" function or do we just have to go one by one through the entire list?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Possible Issue: The content of the e-mail message, or a portion of it, was flagged as SPAM by Charter’s anti-spam detection system

Troubleshooting: If the e-mail message was incorrectly identified as SPAM, you may submit it to Charter for review. To do this, send the ORIGINAL e-mail message to unblock@charter.net.

IMPORTANT: The message must not be forwarded. You must resend the original message. Allow ample time for processing. Charter is unable to respond to the submitted messages.

Hi Bruce,

1. I think that you could add a fake classmate, just so that you could send the e-mail to unblock@charter.net. Just call the classmate "Unblock Charter" or something like that, give it an e-mail address of unblock@charter.net. Then copy the e-mail from your personal e-mail (or wherever you have it saved) and send it to that classmate. Use EMAIL THE CLASS and just select "Unblock Charter" classmate to send the message to.

2. You can send EMAIL THE CLASS to select classmates. Just go to EMAIL THE CLASS and click the radio button next to "Send to selected Classmates (select or deselect Classmates on the next screen) ". Then UNSELECT all of the regular classmates and select those classmates who need the new e-mail message.

3. Hint, don't use words like "online casino", etc. in your classmate e-mails (ha. ha. joke)

Hope this helps.

That's a good suggestion! .....then I could delete the temporary email address....Hmmmm, its just takes some thinking outside of the box or asking for someone else's brain power. Thanks
