I have been trying to deactivate or disable the Message Forum for a variety of reasons, but people are still posting, even though I deactivated the link. Any suggestions? I want the MF to take a hiatus for a while.

It looks like you made the link active again. If the link goes inactive the users still have some notifications pending and some activity may flow as those conversations end. It looks like your class is very active in this section of the site. I don't have a way to completely deactivate it right now (meaning not available to those to have pending conversations going when the link is turned off from the site navigation). I've added it as a wishlist item for the next time the programmers are working on that section of the site.
