We had about 160 classmates at our 50th reunion causing our photographer to take two 8 1/2 x 14 photos to fit everyone in. Unfortunately, posting them on the website yields images that are just barely recognizable of each classmate. I'm not sure there is a better way to do that but I am also wondering if anyone knows of way to name everyone in the picture without having to go back and forth with a written list of who is in row x, 3rd from the left etc.?

I've attached one of the photos so you can see my delema.

This forum:

talks a little about how to map an area of an image so that it can give the name of the classmate when the mouse is over that area of the photo.

Here is a website that explains the HTML codes.

The process is time consuming, but can be done.

I have opened up my FIRST GRADE PHOTOS to give an example of what can be done using IMAGE TAGGING with HTML Maps and Area codes. It shows the large first grade photos and each individual photo is mapped to a classmate's profile and shows the classmate's yearbook photo to the right side of the larger image.

I will keep the "First Grade Photos" unlocked for about two or three weeks (until Thanksgiving).

It was quite time consuming.

This page shows some hints to help you map out your photos. When you insert your image in the codes in the "Working out image map coordinates" then click on the image, the URL will change to the X,Y of the position in the image that you clicked on. This can be used for the HTML AREA tag to give coordinates on the photo for the map.
