How to remove or change "root" from classmate?

A classmate is designated "root". She no longer is participating in reunion planning. How can I change that?

1. You can get her excited about participating in the reunion planning. Then she will want to be the Root Admin again. 2. You can contact her and have her change the Root Admin to you or another classmate. The way to change the Root Admin is from the drop-down on the PREFERENCES page (drop-down menu is only visible to the Root Admin). 3. if your Root Admin has passed away, you can contact us with the newspaper link to her obituary and we can change you to become the new Root Admin.

I am the root Dm. But I noticed there is a drop down menu with other names. How did they get there and can they be removed if they are not dead?

That list in the drop down on the Preferences page is the list of the other co-admins. The top one that displays by default is the root. You cannot remove the others without also removing their co-admins status.
