I have a user who is trying to send a couple of private messages to other friends of his - after several trials and emails between us, he sent me a screen capture. Shen he clicks on Send Private Message, the Sending Message "icon" on the left just stays there. He says he closes the message box after 5 or so minutes.

I took one of my "dummy" accounts and sent him a message and he says he got it, so I know that the website message system is at least working for him that way.

It seems like the problem is on his machine - any suggestions that I could mention to him?

Please find out what the browser and version number of their browser is that they are having this problem so that I can test. My Firefox is working fine.
