I have two couples in my class that are husband and wife and share one email account. Is it possible to utilize the same email account with a different password for each classmate?Or do I just instruct them to get another email account.

Yes, they can use the same e-mail account with different passwords. I'm the administrator for our site and my husband and I used the same e-mail until I just recently had problems with AOL (longgggggggg story) and had to switch over to gmail ... but it worked for several months just fine. The only thing is there will be no way to distinguish who received a message via the website, because the generic "you have a new message ..." doesn't tell you "who" the message is for. I hope that makes sense.
