The following is from the issuu web site that got me started thinking I might not be skilled enough to do a 'turning page' theme. Can I just following these instructions and not get myself into big trouble?

Deploy the basic theme

The easiest way to create a new theme is to build on one of the basic themes provided by Issuu.

Download the Basic Blue theme

Once you've unzipped the archive containing the basic theme, you'll find a folder called issuu inside it. Upload this folder and all of its contents to your website.

After your upload is complete, the files layout.xml and skins.swf should be accessible in your web browser.

e.g.

http://example.com/issuu/themes/basicBlue/layout.xml
http://example.com/issuu/themes/basicBlue/skins.swf

Note: You don't have to follow the above structure, although it is recommended.
