Currently, I've set up shipping to be an item that can be added to the cart in the class store.

Is there a more elegant way to integrate shipping fees? Not all of our orders will be shipped though. Many folks still live nearby and will be picking their orders up in person.

You can add your Shipping under the Custom Options and Price Upcharges section . One option can be your Flat Shipping rate per item, and another can be No Charge, I will pick this item up.
