AUTOMATIC EMAILS

Kyle Erickson tells us the field names are listed on the PREFERENCES page, in the Automatic Emails section:

Your site sends the following automatic emails. While it is recommended you leave these activated, you can deactivate any of them and you may also edit the default verbiage below. You can rearrange, duplicate or remove the following variables, but do not alter them:

$first_name$ - inserts the first name of Classmate.
$last_name$ - inserts the last name of Classmate.
$school$ - inserts the name of your school.
$year$ - inserts "Class of XXXX" - where XXXX is your graduating year.
$homepage$ - inserts a link to your home page.
$ca_first_name$ - inserts Administrator's first name.
$ca_last_name$ - inserts Administrator's last/maiden name.
$ca_married_name$ - inserts Administrator's married name.

John Ralph adds "$homepage_hits$"

My comments:

You can insert "Dear $first_name$" and the first name of every recipient will show as their actual first name. e.g. Dear Jane

You can include punctuation, for example "Dear $first_name$," will show Dear Jane,

You could string several together, such as "Dear $first_name$ $last_name$, the $school$ $year$ presents some event. . . signed $ca_first_name$ $ca_last_name$ (or Married name $ca_married_name$ if desired)

Be sure to include spaces between fields as appropriate.

If anyone has any additional field names, please post them.
