I have an animated gif I found through google that I would love to edit to add some text. To be more specific, it's an animated car and I would like to edit it in my photo studio to just include the word 'map'. How do I go about doing that without losing the animation? I've tried saving it in the gif format and everything and I'm apparently way off base on figuring this out! lol Can anyone help me?

A variety of software can edit GIf animations, including Adobe Photoshop. Many of the programs that do this are expensive. If you want a good free one though, grab Irfanview from www.irfanview.com. For basic things like you're wanting to do it should be all you need.

Thank you so much, Brad! Your answer solved it for me. I achieved exactly what I set out to do! You and your team are absolutely brilliant from what I see in all the forums! It means the world to someone like myself that's just getting their feet wet in html and other editing options.
