We have a grandfathered membership, and I realize that we are out of storage space for photos. I am in the process of moving all of my photos to photobucket so I can embed links instead. Is there a way that I can embed a link to a photo from photobucket for the page I have setup as MY First Car, or within the Gallery?

What is taking up MOST of your space isn't the photos. It is the MP3 files.

To see the MP3 files, go to the Edit Site Pages, Edit Home Page, INSERT/EDIT LINK button, then FILE VAULT. You can also delete them from this page.

To answer your question.... no, the photo galleries only pull the images from the IMAGE file vault.

I also have limited picture space.. I go through the picture vault each month and delete any pictures I used for that month, such as themed photos for Halloween for an example. I also store pictures and cartoons on a portable flash drive. So far, I have 3 flash drives full.
Also, my picture file on my computer has lots of pictures, cartoons and images I can use on my site.. I have them backed up using Carbonite. So hopefully, I can stay within my vault limit and not lose any of my photos, etc... It's worked now for over 3 years..

Aha! Great suggestion. No need to hang a couple of audio clips all over the website (especially since they eat up so much space).

FYI Microsoft makes a small free utility called "Picture Resizer" and you can resize all your photos to 640 x 480. This helps with space and the quality difference is small.

I deleted all my mp's and seems I still do not have enough space. So, I attempted to begin to move all of my pics over to a platform in which I can then embed them. But how can i move them from the site back to my desktop?

You might have deleted them from your WIDGET MP3 player, but they are still in your File Vault. Go to Edit Site Pages, Edit Home Page, INSERT/EDIT LINK, click FILE VAULT, then notice you still have all of the MP3 files listed.

To copy from your file vault to your desktop, go to the file vault, click on the link to show the image, then right-click and choose the SAVE IMAGE AS option.
