Usually when you have white space, it is because all of the announcements move as one unit. If one announcement is too wide, they all move to a place where they can fit comfortably. Here is a tip to find out which announcement(s) is/are too wide. Click on the POST ANNOUNCEMENT link. Next click on the VIEW icon next to the first announcement that is active If it displays where it should, that announcement is not the problem. Repeat with the next announcement. If you have white space, that announcement has something that is too wide. Edit the announcement and make the images smaller (380 is about right for the width) Save the announcement and repeat the process. Continue until you have viewed all the announcement. Your "White Space" problem should now be resolved. Let me know if you need me to do it for you.
