What does everyone think is a good percentage of respondents to a survey, for something like a reunion, gathering, etc?

Technically it's easy to state. It all depends on how confident you want the survey to be and your population size. If a class comprises 300 and you want to be 80% confident and are happy with a 10% error then 37 responses work. Link for Calculating number of responses to predict stuff
