Is there a way to delete more than one classmate at a time rather than having to delete one by one?

Yes.

1) Click Manage Classmates
2) Click the Upload Classmates button
3) Click the Reset Classmates button
4) Click the "deselect all" button at the bottom of the page
5) Check off all Classmate names you wish to delete
6) Delete Classmates
