Under Preferences, we have always selected the second option. If we switch to the first option, will everyone who logs in be taken to the What's new page including those who have not joined Class Connection? We would like to try this, change the Home Page to be like a cover page or index and move contents to the What's New Page. The informal nature of What's New might be a welcome change for our website for the coming year, at the risk of being referred to as aka FB; but the inclusion of some content in between casual talk might work and won't need to change the home page as often. Thanks for providing EDIT on What's New...So if we switch our preference to What's New Page, all Catherinians/Classmates who log in will be taken to the What's New Page in Class Connection ?Please clarify if this is a correct interpretation. Thanks for any clarifications.

Take Catherinians to the What's New page after logging in.

You are referring to the section called INITIAL DESTINATION and the options of A. Take Catherinians to the What's New page after logging in. ... and B. Take Catherinians to the Home Page after logging in.

The What's New page has nothing to do with the Class Connection system. Class Connection is an app for those who wish to interact with your site while in Facebook. The What's New page is an aggregation page that collects the interactions of the profiles as well as other events that happen withing the website. Selecting the option for Take Catherinians to the What's New page after logging in, simply means that when the member comes to your website, the fist page that they will see when they enter your domain name, will be the What's New page.

Also, yes, if you are logging on via the Class Connection, the first place you will land will be the What's New page.
