I just posted an obituary and at the bottom of the text box, there was a link to "View backups (2)" : Last Save 05/22/15 07:03PM. I don't think I have ever backed it up. Is this something I am supposed to do, or is it something the website does? If I am supposed to do it, please provide guidance. Thanks!!!

The first time you made and saved a change to this page, a copy of the previous page was automatically archived and placed in the backup archive for the page. You must have saved this page three times: the latest save is what the obituary looks like now; the two earlier saves are in the backup archive. Go ahead and click "View backups." If you wish, click on the backup of your choice to see what it looks like and then select it if you want to restore the backup.

Scott is right. It is an automatic backup system to save the previous states of changes of the editable pages.
