We've recently started to use the Photo Gallery features and have a question about photo size. Photos are fine for individual photos or general group shots, etc. But when a CLASS PHOTO is uploaded and then viewed in the gallery, it is seemingly limited to a standard small viewable size on the screen. The detail of a class picture and being able to see the faces of classmates is rather poor.

Is there a way, using the photo gallery, to get a larger preview size (to fill our screen) so detail can be seen? Or are we stuck with this limitation (of about 3" x 4.5")?

Note: when we put larger class photos on our regular pages we ARE able to see them in a much larger format and excellent detail.

Did you read this post that was posted just earlier today? You need to reupload that image, it's at the old size.

One thing to note about a feature like Gallery Creator is it must accommodate everyone. 51% of Class Creator users are still using 1024 x 768 resolution. You don't want to create a scenario where images are so large they don't even fit on the screen without scrolling up or down or left or right. Especially not if people have enabled slideshow mode on this feature.

If the new size is still not to your liking, you might want to consider using the panoramic approach. You can place a clickable image above your gallery itself, that expands to a larger image at the size of your choosing. Some images (like this one for example, where you really want clarity on all faces in the photo) call for a supersized image. You can read about setting up a panoramic image in this thread.
