It's possible to purchase a scanned version of my high school yearbook from E-yearbook.com. Has anyone had exerience with this? Are the images they supply (800 x1,000 pixels)good enough to be cropped and used for individual photos that are decent quality? I'm trying to find a way to upload yearbook pictures of each classmate to our new site.

Thanks for any insights!

I scanned my own Yearbook. Attached is the same senior page at as scanned 3098 HT and at 1000HT. In my opinion the higher resolution the better. This works on Senior pages but sophomore pages are pretty bad at 1000x (individual pix.

Well I guess it won't let me give you the larger scan. Take a look at the 1000x and see what you think.

Also keep in mind that any picture that you will post on your site will be reduced to 700x on the site. ie, if you post a full page it is viewed at 700x. you would not loose much there but an individual pix out of the 1000x will be quite small.
