Is there a way to limit access to the display and downloading of a PDF file, like there is with a photo gallery, for only logged in users? The web page is public but I want the link to be restricted.

There are 3 ways (and possibly more?): 1. Make the link go to a PW page where they download 2. Make the link only visible to logged in users (announcement differences) 3. Make a script on the home page that only works if user is logged in. Yes, that's possible, but only for the home page. That's easy to defeat, but only to those who know how

You can add a page with the download link and turn on the password protection for it. That will limit access to the link to both logged in classmates and those with the guest password, but will prevent unauthenticated users from seeing the link.
