Setting up a Event Planner for a reunion in the fall 2022, what is everyone using for the payment method?
Are you using the credit card function listed on the site, or are you using an outside collection system (i.e. VENMO)?

Our committee has elected for several years to have checks sent directly to the treasurer.
[With a discount if paid early.]

We're doing the same as Steve: paper checks/money orders sent directly to the treasurer. No electronic payments. It's a drag when we have to issue refund checks if our reunion is postponed (twice now), but we're just not in to electronic payments. Hoping we can have our 50th/52nd reunion this October!

We have used credit card payments and checks. The issue with credit card payments is the amount of time it takes for funds to be deposited into your bank account.

We used Paypal and checks (when Paypal was an option). Paypal money deposits takes a few days at most.

Might still use Paypal using custom payment code. One does have to do the same manual work as with checks. No biggie since one of the admins likes that sort of work.

Don't recall the usage split. Paypal was often used is all I remember.

Last reunions (called "birthdays") were "free" potluck since one of our classmates has a HUGE super nice area to hold our Reunions. So there is no cost involved. Next one might be different since it's another 5 year thing.

OLD system was in many ways easier to use. We have one old one left for use. So never have use the new planner. Again done without actual feedback.
