To the Powers that Be and anyone who cares, Just passing along this SPAM Alert from the address: aloran111@blumail.org Dear (my name) My name is Anthony loran, personal account officer to Late Mark Thrailkill ,a national of your country and a contractor here in Gambia, Who died alongside his Wife and only Daughter in a fatal auto wreck on 21st of February 2007.Since his tragic death I have been searching for his relatives but to no avail. Before his death the deceased had a fixed deposit account with our bank, valued at US$6,350,000.00, Which is to be confiscated by our Bank in accordance with the Gambian Financial policy,if nobody come for the claim.
Overall rating The end of bogus claim/message Please note:The message was addressed to me personally, looking legit but the MAC Spammer caught it, thankfully. It's a bogus claim of dead "relatives", etc. We've had an uptick in hits for far-away places, where none of our classmates live, that seem to be looking for any way to improve their personal economy. Please note, or make sure that your Spam catchers/filters are functioning.

Almost daily we are receiving these type emails. I would think that we all know that no one will give us money from foreign countries.

computerjokeanykey2startcartoon.jpg Yes, it's an old game, but in the past we have passed on the ISP's to CC to let them know to block them if they can. This is from someone who found our CC site, sent through the contact option, not my personal e-mails,etc.

Glad you clarified the destination email as coming through our class site. You did? Didn't you? Biblically stated, "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived." Our guard must be up. I had a brother-in-law who was taken by one of the scams a few years back. He never regained any of the money. The money was itself not he's to begin with. He was dis-included via divorce recently by my wife's sister.

Many, many of these solicitations are coming out of Nigeria. How anyone can fall for them is beyond my ability to comprehend. I just received one about five minutes ago, tho not through CC. That said, as a retired U.S. Immigration Special Agent I can tell you if a Nigerian's mouth is moving, he's lying. Take that any way you want to, it's the truth from 25 years experience, almost without exception.
