We have access to another platform to host our website (sorry ClassCreator), but it appears that we cannot transfer our current site, hosted here. In the domain lookup tool, I see: Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited. Is there something I can do?

You or CC can unlock the domain for transfer. So CC needs to give you the credentials or do it for you. It's your domain. Any remaining time will transfer too. Then your new place has to configure the domain to go to the new location.

Wendy, You can unlock it in your domain account. Details are under Admin Functions > Manage Domain > Manage Your Domain Account. It you can email me the domain details to info@classcreator.com if you don't have access to that page
